The UK PropTech Association (UKPA) expert judging panel has shortlisted RentLondonFlat.com for the most “Innovative Business Award” in the “PropTech” category for 2021, due to RentLondonFlat’s design and implementation of R.A.i.A. (Rental Artificial Intelligence Assistant) in company operations.
The UKPA judging panel states that this award:
“is for a PropTech company that has developed a new way to solve a common industry pain point, or has demonstrated continued innovation through the evolution of their product or solution and cultivated a culture of principal thinkers within the company.”
Other companies to be shortlisted for the awards, with the grand ceremony taking place in a few weeks time on 18 November, include well-known industry names such as PGIM, Legal & General, Inventory Base, Deasa, and Goodlord.
Alavari Jeevathol, projects and operations manager at RentLondonFlat, commented on the nomination and shortlisting: “It is pleasing to see our AI co-bot RAIA, after just a few years of development, start to gain name recognition for the transformative effect she has had in our company’s operations. I believe the UKPA judging panel understand what we have tried to achieve with RAIA – we did not want to be tech obsessives jumping into property and throwing out micro-solutions left, right, and centre. Neither did we want to be an old-fashioned property agent being blind to industry pain points for tenants and landlords. We truly believed we could live in both worlds and take the best out of them. RAIA is not a tech solution imported into the property industry and squeezed to fit. She has been built from the ground up from within a viable property company and has had hands on our operations from the quite early developmental stages.”
Speaking to the value that such industry network recognition brings to RentLondonFlat, Managing Director EuGin Song celebrated “this opportunity to measure ourselves against the very many PropTech solutions out there. Our market research, informal outreach and pilot programmes have all already been telling us for some time that RAIA stands apart in the PropTech space. RAIA stands apart because of her full-spectrum operational capability in the property and tenancy cycle. We will all be pulling for the award win. We wish to use that as a stepping stone to demonstrate the ambitiousness of our vision and robustness of our delivery to our customers and investors.”
